You can also buy a mining laser and
excavate asteroids. But for this, you
you need a fuel scoop.
The fuel scoop was constructed to turn
solar plasma into fuel. To do this you
have to fly near a sun. Shortly before
the Cobra is melting, the fuel scoop
turns on automatically and then you
should do a hyperspace jump.
After hyperspacing, you find yourself
between the destination planet and its
sun. To reach the planet faster than
normal, ya have to press 'J', but this
works only if no planet or spaceship
is near.
The ID-computer shows you the type of
ship. The ECM destroys all incoming
missiles. Even your own ones. Some of
your enemies also have it.
If the enemy is near, you should do
a full-speed loop, so the enemy can
not hit you.
If your equipment is not the best, do
not fly to anarchies or feudal ruled

planets. There are more pirates than
anywhere else.
As soon as you have a docking-computer
ya should choose 'fast' in the options
coz otherwise this wastes lot of time.
For all of ya who still don't know it:
After destroying other ships, there
are often some cargo canister left.
Steer these on the lower half of the
screen and fly to them. In this way,
you collect cargo that is often worth
lots of credits.
Now the radar: The light blue points
are enemies, the blue ones are police
Vipers. Yellow ones are traders, grey
points are Thargoids, green ones dis-
play escape capsules and the rest are
asteroids or cargo canisters.
The game itself is the top cult-game.
The soundfx here is average and the
